54th Annual RANZCO Scientific Congress

Last month, the 54th Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) was held in Perth. With 1533 delegates present and many additional members attending virtually, the congress was a huge success. 

Northside Eye Specialists was proudly represented by Dr Michael Forrest, Dr Bradley Horsburgh, and Professor Timothy Sullivan at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. During the Congress, speakers from Australia, Singapore, the US and the UK covered critical topics such as refractive surgery, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, retina and cataracts. 

It was a robust scientific program with a variety of courses, papers, and presentations from esteemed members of the academic community. Also prominent were initiatives on business skills, sustainability, and health and wellbeing. This was an excellent educational and networking experience for Northside Eye Specialists, and we look forward to applying our newly gained knowledge to our practice.
