Dr John Horsburgh
Dr John Horsburgh is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with subspecialty interest in the management of glaucoma.
Born and raised in Queensland, John completed medical school at the University of Queensland before being selected for his ophthalmology training through the Sydney Eye Hospital.
After completing comprehensive ophthalmology training, John received a Topham Scholarship and had the opportunity to complete further fellowships at Oxford University Hospitals and St Thomas’ Hospital (London) with Professor Sheng Lim. These fellowships allowed exposure to the latest medical, laser and surgical techniques for management of glaucoma.

- John has the privilege of working as a consultant publicly at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he is involved with teaching. He has published in peer-reviewed ophthalmology literature and presented at national and international meetings.
